Most of an HC monk's skills are 1/4s. Even if you quarterknock Patient Spirit and CoP, you still have to work around their block stances.

Again, GW is a team game. If a team lets your mesmer camp their HC, they're bad. If a team allows you to monk stomp their HC, they're bad. If a team does not work around the weaknesses of HC, they're bad. You can't use bad teams to justify how HC is weak.

If HC doesnt require skill, then does that mean old skool boon prots didnt require skill either? I remember when boon prot was nerfed there was a huge outcry against that decision. I'd like it to be a good elite if u both decide to bring enchantments or spells. If HC worked on both of those it would be easier to give it a slight buff (remove upkeep, 20-15% heal reduction...) but right now u can't because the skill is way too good in enchantment spamming.

Again, if u put the HC in a team that has some decent way to deal with spikes (team with hard to spike characters (high armor people, block stances...) or some anti-spike support (WoR ritualist, Smiter, even linebacking)) then hf killing.

indeed an old school shutdown mes>hc (well, they can practically shutdown anything), yet, as sab already mentioned, the enemy team will sit on the mesmer then.

at shroud of silence issue, ive faced such a sin in ra, its funny how they can keep it up pretty much 100% of the time, but since his team was dead, we just needed to wait till time ran out :P

The first time we faced this in TA we got lucky with our Shock Axe, the second time we also had to wait for the timer.

I guess it's not such a common thing so not so much of an issue and with patience it's easily beaten due to the uselessness of the build, with regards to the rest of the team being one man down from the start.

Jace mentions TA maybe having an observe mode, I like the idea of that and also I would like to see Guild names at the start like in HA/GvG, if it's not a Guild it would be the top players name etc.
